Show update: There seems to be some confusion regarding the 2017 Show. This years show had to cancelled due to circumstances well beyond our control. We are now working towards bringing you a great event in 2018 which will take place late July. We look forward to the continuing support of our wonderful community, the Showmans Guild and stall holders.

UNCERTAIN TIMES… Cooktown Regional Ag Show Society is facing uncertainty. A new committee is vital for its continuation. Importantly, looking for new blood as the Executive Committee are standing down due to ill health, business commitments and/or unforeseen circumstances. The Show needs fresh faces who can continue its success this year and into the future.
The AGM will be held 5.30pm on 30th May 2016 at The Endeavour Lions Hall. All Executive Committee positions MUST be filled for the 2016 Show to happen as the incumbents’ will not be back. This handful of 'not so young' volunteers have invested a lot ensuring success of the much loved & a community favorite for a number of year. Get involved, meet other community minded people or get together with a couple of friends to share a position to make it easy and come learn new skills and techniques whilst having fun.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The shows allocated (in line with QCAS & QLD Ag Show circuit) dates for 2016 are Wednesday 27th July (Cook Shire Show Holiday) & Thursday 28th July. 2015 Ag Show Committee members in the PCYC Events Centre Foyer, Monday 3.30pm and 5.30pm Monday 17th Aug (tomorrow) for 1st Place & Best in Show Winners to collect you prize envelopes. Please bring your Prize Card and/or Sash. Thanks to everyone who supported the Show this year, without all your support either financial, volunteering, entering or as an exhibitor/stall holder we could not have done it without you.

Have a break from cooking… Come to the Show early and gab dinner before the Official Opening and Fireworks (Barra wall, front of building) commencing at 6pm. There is a great selection scrumptious food from Hotdogs to Doner Kebabs and everything in between. Show will be open late with a Bar and music to dance the night away. (outback on Reserve)

2015 Show Program, Come along and join in the fun. Entry is Free, but it would be great if you could give a donation, just drop it in the Buckets at the Info areas. Don't forget to fill out a stats card for lucky draws throughout the day.

Committee members will be in the foyer from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. N.B. All your Exhibits for Craft, Children’s Art, Photography and Home Brew MUST be delivered to the Events Centre Foyer by 4.30pm on Tuesday 28th July.

Come to the Cooktown PCYC Events Centre; drop off ALL your Entry forms/fees including Scarecrow Comp. to a SHOW VOLUNTEER. Also Deliver your Craft, Children’s Art, Photography & Home Brew exhibits. We'll be there Tuesday 21st July til Monday 27th July 2015 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm Monday to Friday & Saturday (25th July only) 10:00am to 1:00pm.

Scarecrows and your perishable exhibits to be delivered on Thursday 30th July from 8am - 4.30pm.
