CIAF 2026 ARTISANS SHOWCASE
More than 130 First Nations artists. 36 stalls. A curated shopping and cultural experience unlike anywhere else in the country.
Returning to the Tanks Arts Centre Promenade this July, the CIAF Artisans Showcase brings together artists, makers, designers and cultural practitioners from across Queensland and Zenadth Kes/Torres Strait, presenting handcrafted works spanning weaving, jewellery, ceramics, sculpture, fashion, textiles, cultural artefacts and contemporary design.
Formerly known as the Art Market, the program has evolved into a curated showcase celebrating both cultural continuity and innovation - a place to meet artists directly, hear the stories behind the work and support First Nations-owned businesses through ethical purchasing.
From rainforest to reef, freshwater to island communities, every stall carries distinct cultural knowledge, material practice and creative expression.
Opening Night and the On Country VIP Program offer audiences the chance to experience the Showcase before the weekend crowds arrive with early access to works, conversations with artists and first opportunities to collect across the fair.
