It was a special day and night filled with culture, strength, connection, laughter and community.

As an initiative of Umoona Community Council Inc, the centre is led by Director Jodi and her team, supporting children to build confidence, develop independence, and stay connected to culture and community.

The Umoona Community Nursery & Gardens are growing strong 🌱

With Tim and Nick continuing to build on the great work already happening in the space. We’re already seeing great progress, with herbs thriving — including basil, thyme, chilli and sage — while vegetables like radish, cauliflower, beans and spinach are coming along, with more on the way.

A pomegranate tree is taking shape, and the chickens are busy laying fresh eggs for the community 🥚

From fresh eggs to herbs and chilli, everything here is grown to be shared with our community 🌱
This space is for you — come down and be part of it.

Through personalised support, we work alongside people to strengthen wellbeing, encourage independence, and help them stay engaged in their community.

We’re here to help you:

• Connect with others in meaningful ways
• Access local services, activities, and support
