Tweed Valley Jazz and Blues Club

Some groups and musician we’ve enjoyed include Bob Barnard, George Washingmachine, the Well Swung Daddies and the Caxton Street Jazz Band.

The club's mission is to facilitate the live performance and appreciation of jazz and blues in the Northern Rivers Area
Our concerts are held on the last Friday of each month, holidays permitting. The Tweed Valley Jazz Club, which had it’s roots in jazz jams involving local musicians and fans, presents monthly gigs at Condong Bowls Club involving a wide range of jazz styles. The club also encourag

es young musicians by running workshops at local schools and sponsoring them in the Festival of Performing Arts. The current venue is the Condong Bowls Club in McLeod Street just north of Murwillumbah. This page will give news of forthcoming and past events, and provide opportunity for members and others to make suggestions and comment on the gigs.

Tweed Valley Jazz n Blues next Gig is on Friday July 31st from 6pm at Condong Bowls Club. The night kicks off with "THE EARLY BIRDS" followed by at 7.30pm "THE FINE ORGAN QUARTET" with their repertoire of originals from Pietro, Dave and Lucas also many rearrangements of century old pieces along with modern Jazz.

Tweed Valley Jazz n Blues invite you to their next gig on Friday Mar27th from 6.30pm at Condong Bowls Club. The night starts at 6.30pm with 'THE EARLY BIRDS' followed by at 8pm 'ACID BLEED' with their hot gypsy swing infused with a spicy Latin groove. Welcome to Tweed Valley Jazz & Blues Club for 2026. I hope we all have a great year. There are some new bands that have not played for the club before. More on that as the year progresses, but we thought we'd start with a big bang & bring Back one of our most appreciated bands over the years featuring Rick Best's Sweet Thunder on Friday 30th January.
