An early start today, dodging the wildlife on the way to Dubbo. Clare and Fiona are feeling very grateful to have been invited to participate in an inclusive eduction summit, hosted by the Down Syndrome Foundation.
This is an issue very close to both our hearts.

We look forward to a day of learning and networking, then bringing it all back to share with the team and families we work with. 🙌🙌

We’ve had a few questions about what CaAS Plants is actually raising money for.

Clare has a pipeline dream; she once stumbled across a mobile sensory van, an amazing set up that travelled around community events and provided a place for people to be able to decompress, regulate and chill until they were ready to face the chaos of the outside world again. That’s the dream. That will take a LOT of plant sales.

More medium term goals include an inclusive employment program. An opportunity for some of the young hands on NDIS participants to be able to get out and about, contribute to their community and have meaningful employment. Possibly in the form of some yard maintenance for community members.

We’d like to host inclusive social nights, a weekly chess club, games nights, opportunities for participants to shine and socialise in a way that highlights their unique strengths and interests.

We’d like a sensory area for all the little people (or big people too!) that come to visit us, for CaAS or within the greater Family Support programs.

So, when you look at our beautiful plant babies and wonder if you need one for your home, know that the purchase of those plants, is going to help contribute to some pretty awesome opportunities for our local community.

We’ve had an amazing uptake so far, feel free to drop down and see if anything catches your eye. 💜

IT'S HAPPPENING! We had a whole opening speel to advertise, but then life happened... Fiona is tired of us throwing project ideas at her and her favourite saying being "We have to pay for it..." CaAS is holding an indoor plant sale, not just a singular event, but a series of pop ups the first being TOMORROW! Come down to 6 Lachlan st, Condobolin and see us between 9am-11am tomorrow to see what we may have 🤩🤩

It's bring the kids to work day for the CaAS team today... School holidays mean flexibility for all families.
Today, while the team are powering through all things CaAS, our kids are enjoying a catchup out the back. 🙌🙌
