It was great to be back visiting Mulgoa Public School with specialist Educator Samantha and Healthy Harold.

Class 1/2 students explored the importance of food and water for energy and hydration, and strategies for managing nerves when trying new things or coping with challenges.

We're proud to have partnered with Mulgoa Public School for over a decade, supporting students to build confidence, resilience and healthy habits through engaging Life Ed learning experiences.πŸ¦’

We were delighted to welcome Anna Watson MP - Member for Shellharbour to Koonawarra Public School to provide an update on the Life Ed program.

Ms Watson is a long-standing and valued advocate for Life Ed, championing our program's role in supporting the health, wellbeing and safety of children in her community.

Through her support via the Community Building Partnerships Program, she has also helped fund upgrades to Healthy Harold's mobile learning centre, ensuring local schools across the Shellharbour electorate can continue to access these vital programs and enjoy the best possible learning experience.

When five small Snowy Mountain schools joined together for a shared camped hosted by Khancoban Public School, something special happened.

Students from rural communities had the opportunity to learn, connect and build friendships - while also accessing engaging health and wellbeing education through Healthy Harold.

As Talbingo Public School Principal, Denise Cherry shared:

"Healthy Harold provides an invaluable opportunity for our students from five small rural schools to access expert knowledge and resources that support their health and wellbeing education - resources that might otherwise be unavailable to them."

We were grateful to welcome Philip Donato, State Member for Orange, to Healthy Harold's Parkes Festival of Health, where he showed his support for Life Ed's work in regional communities.

Mr Donato spoke about the lasting impact Life Ed has in equipping children and families with essential life skills that help shape lifelong behaviours and positive outcomes.

He highlighted the vital role programs like Life Ed play in regional areas, where access to a range of health and wellbeing services can be more limited – making early, preventative education especially important for local communities.

We sincerely thank Mr Donato for his support and advocacy, and for championing the importance of ensuring every child has access to engaging, preventative health education that helps set them up for life.

We asked young people from across Australia to bring their answers to life through art and the submissions were insightful, clever and incredibly moving.

This became the foundation of our Reconciliation Action Plan artwork. We're so grateful to Gabby from for bringing it all together.

βš–οΈ This artwork illustrates balance and a harmonious relationship with land, sea and country.
🏞️ The waterholes, fish, bush tucker and landscape represent elements of all of Australia.
🀝 At the centre, we have people, living and growing on country.

It represents why we are all in for reconciliation.

It is a commitment to continuing to work together towards an Australia that is strengthened by our willingness to acknowledge and learn from the past, grow in respect for each other, and ensure the rights and voices of First Nations and Torres Strait Islander peoples are heard.

Thank you to the families who joined us last night for our Cybersafety Information Session, delivered in partnership with South Western Sydney Local Health District

Together, we explored the impact gaming, apps and screen time can have on children’s brains, sleep and wellbeing - alongside practical, evidence-informed strategies families can use to build healthier digital habits at home.

A highlight of the evening was seeing families work together to create personalised tech agreements to support safer, more balanced online experiences.

We’re proud to partner with the South Western Sydney Local Health District to bring trusted, practical cybersafety education into communities, helping children and young people thrive online and offline.
