If you’re a Victorian student in years 9 to 12 you’re eligible to apply.

The Prize offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity overseas study tour to learn about the Anzac legend.

To enter the Prize, students are asked to reflect on the Anzac values and how they model them in their lives.

The Premier's Spirit of Anzac Prize closes Monday 11 May 2026.

Calling Primary educators - Expression of Interest Due Thursday 27 March 2026!

HTAV is seeking Primary educators to participate in a full-day workshop on Monday 4 May from 9am – 4pm at the Hellenic Museum to unpack Vic History 2.0 and inform the Department of Education's resourcing and curriculum planning.

We are seeking teachers who:
• are currently teaching at a Victorian primary school
• have experience teaching within the F–6 band of the Victorian Curriculum
• are able to freely share teaching activities, assessment tasks, and curriculum planning ideas
• are passionate about History.

CRT payment will be made to schools that release teachers to attend.

If you want access to rich ideas, resources and insights from other participating schools and to help shape the Department's thinking about future directions in History teaching across the Primary years, email your interest to [email protected] by 27 March.
