Who we are:
Saint Mark’s community gather at Saint Marks Church in Fitzroy. The community reflects the diversity within our country. Rich and poor, gay and straight, male and female, single and married, black and white, locals and travellers all attend our services and are treated as equals.
What we do:
For over 30 years St. Marks has run a community centre to serve the people of Fitzroy. It is a drop in and welfare centre and runs in partnership with Anglicare Victoria. Each day up to 100 people visit the centre. There they receive food parcels, clothing vouchers or assistance in making ends meet. Every day the centre provides a lunch for the homeless.
