So pleased to drop off a selection of warm, winter kids' pyjamas to Djirra! 🤗🧡
We hope the little ones love them - staying cosy this winter matters. 🫂
At CWA, we support vulnerable women, children and families across our communities. Djirra provides holistic, culturally safe and self-determined support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women experiencing or recovering from family violence - vital work we're proud to support.

Looking for a gift for mothers and others? Our members are busy baking, making and creating lots of treats and goodies for our fundraising stall at Gleadell St Market in Richmond on Saturday 9 May. We’ll also have some skeins of our very own “Collingwool”. Proceeds support vulnerable women, children and families.

What a wonderful day spent in creative company! 🧶✨
Collingwood CWA members had a fantastic time at our Amigurumi crochet workshop, expertly led by the talented Verity. From learning new stitches to bringing adorable little creations to life, the room was full of laughter, focus, and plenty of yarn!
A big thank you to Verity for sharing her skills and inspiring us all, and to everyone who came along and made the day so special. We can't wait to see what everyone creates next!

Bushfire Fundraiser - Sunday 1 February: CWA Alphington will be holding a special craft and baked goods stall this Sunday at the Alphington Farmers Market to support CWA programs assisting women, children and families impacted by the fires that are still burning across Victoria.
All proceeds will be used to help with the recovery process in any way we can, starting with the cooking of heat and eat meals we have been asked to provide to the devastated Harcourt area.
Pop down to 2 Wingrove Street, Alphington between 9am and 1pm and help us spread the love and support those who could do with a hand.

12/01/2026

The Country Women's Association of Victoria and our thousands of members across the State extend our thoughts to those affected by the fires and the immense loss being experienced by many Victorians at this difficult time.

We acknowledge and thank the tireless work of the CFA volunteers and emergency services who have battled to save lives, property and communities across Victoria.

When safe to do so and as we have done for close to a century, the CWA will be working with local communities on supporting those affected by the fires during the lengthy recovery stage.
