A huge shout out to our amazing Kristy! 🌟

Kristy was a finalist in this year’s WA Mental Health Awards in the Mentally Healthy Employee category, and we couldn’t be prouder!

While Kristy may not have taken home the top award, she is certainly a winner in the eyes of Collie PCYC and our young people. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to have Kristy alongside us, supporting our team and young people, encouraging open conversations about mental health, and reminding us that it’s okay to speak up, reach out and seek help when we need it.

Congratulations, Kristy! Your dedication, compassion and commitment to the wellbeing of others make a real difference in our community. We’re lucky to have you on our team! 💚👏

ALWAYS REMEMBERED. NEVER FORGOTTEN.

Today, 29 September, we pause to honour the Western Australian police officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
We remember their courage, their service and the commitment they made to protect our community.

We also remember the families, friends and colleagues who continue to carry their loss. Their sacrifice is not forgotten, and their memory remains part of the WA Police family.

Today, and every day, we remember.
Lest we forget. 💙

A quiet supporter who deserves to be recognised 💙

What many people in our community may not know is that, for years, Collie Bendigo Bank has been quietly supporting our safeSPACE program and the young people who walk through our doors.

Their support helps ensure our young people have somewhere safe to come, grab a bite to eat, pick up something for breakfast or lunch the next day, or simply sit down with us and share an evening meal.

This support has been given quietly, without fanfare or expectation of recognition. But we believe it’s time to stand up and say thank you.

Thank you to Collie Bendigo Bank for continuing to support Collie PCYC safeSPACE and, most importantly, for supporting our young people when they need it most.

Your contribution goes far beyond food. It helps create a place where young people know they are welcome, cared for and supported.

We are incredibly grateful for your ongoing commitment to our young people and our community. 💙

Thank you, Collie Bendigo Bank, for being in their corner.

💛 Spreading a little sunshine around Collie this RU OK? Day

Our team took over the streets in their duck-themed best, handing out keyrings and cards made by our safeSPACE™ young people.

What a beautiful reminder that a small gesture can carry so much warmth ☺️

💛 This R U OK? Day, our young people from the safeSPACE™ programme made keyrings and cards to hand out, reminding everyone how important it is to ask “R U OK?” Any day.

We’re proud of them for spreading smiles across Collie! Check out our next post to see👏🏽
