Did you know there are free online programs for country parents/ carers with the virtual child health nurse?!

Not only can you have your Purple book checks for 1–3-year-old directly online- they have weekday, 4.30pm and Saturday appointments too.

Other free programs offered are:

🍽 Toddler mealtimes and toileting skills: Sat July 4th 12.30-1.30pm

🚽Toilet Skills for Kindy: for parents of 3–5-year-olds: Sat Aug 1st 12.30 to 1.30pm

🫐Solid start: for parents of babies 3-6 months :When and how to introduce solid foods: Weds 17th June 10.30 to 11.30 am

👩‍🍼Early Parent Group: for parents of babies 0-3 months; join other parents to share experiences and gain information ( baby sleep, play, tummy time, baby cues and more) June 4th for 3 weeks 1-2pm.

We are incredibly excited and grateful to share that the Child and Parent Centre – Collie Valley has been selected as a successful recipient of Synergy Collie Small Grants.

This funding will support the transformation of our outdoor space into an inclusive, accessible and culturally respectful environment for children and families in our community.

We’re especially looking forward to collaborating with respected local Elders to help reimagine the space. creating a place where families of all abilities can connect with nature, children can explore and play, and parents and carers can sit, yarn and feel a sense of belonging together.

Improving accessibility for all families, including parents with prams and children with varying needs, is an important part of this vision and we cannot wait to bring it to life.

A huge thank you to Synergy for investing in community spaces that strengthen connection, inclusion and wellbeing.

Watch this space — we can’t wait to see the transformation begin!
