Sand mining is threatening this pristine, Endangered Banksia Woodlands in Bidaminna, just near Moore River National Park. Given that the Proposal will result in significant habitat loss for Carnaby's Black Cockatoos, we need to urge the Federal Environment Minister to not approve the Bidaminni Project Site Investigations on the grounds that the Proposal is clearly unacceptable.

Make a quick submission today Thursday 20 Feb, 9.59pm AWST, using the instructions below:

1. Go to: bit.ly/Bidaminna-EPBC
2. Provide a title: Bidaminna
3. Add name and email details
4. Select ‘YES’ for it to be a Controlled Action
5. Reasons can include:
• The proposal involves clearing an extensive area of important feeding habitat for the Endangered Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos.
• The proposed area is just 1km from Moore River, and could result in water systems being degraded through land clearing that increases erosion and water quality.
• Risks to Matters of Environmental Signficance include the Endangered Banksia Woodlands of the Swan Coastal Plain ecological community, and Threatened species such as Endangered Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos and the Critically Endangered Western Swamp Tortoise.
6. Respond to next 4 questions with Yes/No and Submit your comment.

Thank you for being a voice for the Black Cockatoos. Share this post with friends and family or just comment below to help the reach.

We need iconic Black Cockatoos, we don't need politicians who authorise land clearing.
