On Wednesday night we held our annual Farmers 4 Farmers night, it was a huge success with 70 attendees learning about the seasonal outlook.

We would like to thank our speakers
Andrew from Meridan Ag
Who spoke on feed requirements regarding this year's low quality hay

Craig from Vickery bros
Who gave us an insight to fertiliser pricing and availability now and into the future.

Dale from Agriculture Victoria
Who made us all scratch our heads as to what the weather is going to do , but also gave us an insight into all the maps and how to read them and understand.

Again we would like to thank all for attending and those who helped with putting the night on
Agriculture Victoria, Vickery bros, McDonald Rural , Coleraine Football/Netball club and Meridan ag.
We had a great night, good feed and a wonderful catch up with like minded people.

What a wonderful night for a drive-in.

A huge thankyou to all our amazing sponsors who made the night a low budget night for families to enjoy.

Every one enjoyed a wonderful array of food from all our community groups catering for the evening.

We were also delighted in how the work put in to elevate the screen enhanced the viewing pleasure for all that attended, we will continue to try and improve the evening for all in years to come.

Again after another long trip to the longwood fire area this time to the other side of the range , Ruffy area , we delivered 14 semi loads from our area as part of the Need for Feed Australia hay run , a total of 45 semi and b double loads.

Firstly again I would like to thank all the drivers and people who donated equipment to be able to do this. Devon Robinson, Palmer transport ,Shane and A J , Roth trucking , Phil Williams, Balch ag , Paul Obrian, Vickery bros, Brett Shrubsole, Neville Roy , Neville Holmes, Cooper Hudson , Tony Edwards, Tim Moore , Damian Carracher, Andrew Hudson , Carlton and Frank from Need for feed

As well as all who donated hay so we had something to deliver Ken Allan, Andrew Mcrae , Renee and Judy Dehass , Daryl and Michelle Melano , Kerry Cowland and neighbours , Geoff Mitchell , Lochie Tyndall, Mountajup Vintage Machinery , Paul Obrian,Ian and Marion Wilson , Devan Robinson ,Derrick Brown , Jim Shaw , Sam Winter Cooke , Andrew Spears , Glen Cameron, Fox and Dylan Bensch if I have missed anyone I apologise.

Thinking this trip would not be as emotional as the last one was wrong, as we arrived and had lunch at Euroa, we were all presented with a couple of cards/drawings from the local primary school students, just to let all the drivers know how much they were appreciated, from there moving up the range to each ones unloading destination we saw the devastation first hand , from what we had heard on the news what we saw was there is a lot of recovery to happen up there, after unloading and hearing the stories of what our farmers had endured and lost we moved onto where we stayed the night , The Ruffy community hall where we were treated like Royalty for the night by the amazing locals who had been working tirelessly over the past 6 weeks feeding and looking after those who had been affected and had lost everything.

Our club was also awarded a banner from Need for feed for the efforts helping organise donations and trucking them , assisting in their quest to help others.
