A huge thank you to ACCIONA Mt Gellibrand for their ongoing support of our hugely popular Books For Beginners programs. This grant will go towards the purchase of books for every prep student in the district. Pictured is Jill Rodger, the program coordinator, receiving our grant certificate at a wonderful morning tea provided by ACCIONA. We take this opportunity to thank all the volunteer readers who ensure the program is a success.

Community at it's best.

Thanks to your generosity we've been able to support Share the Dignity with a huge donation of essential women's products-delivered with pride by PP Lyn Crook to the Salvation Army.

This is why Rotary matters. We don't just talk about making a difference-we show up, we act and we lift people when they need it most.

Proud to be part of a community that turns compassion into real impact.

We’re proud to support our amazing RYLA participants as they attend the Kangaroobie Leadership Camp! 🌿

Molly Dunnill, Josh Newcombe, Rachael Duynhoven, Stella Harrington were the Rotary Club of Colac West and Rotary Club Of Colac RYLA 2026 participants.

What is RYLA?
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership program run by Rotary clubs and districts. It gives young people the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, build confidence, and create lasting connections—all while having an incredible amount of fun.

Jackie Beckmann and Ben Zappelli, members of our Rotary clubs. enjoyed a fantastic dinner with all Rotary District 9780, 22 RYLArians at Kangaroobie.

We can’t wait to see how this experience inspires and shapes our participants. Go well and make the most of every moment! 💙

It was a privilege for the Rotary Club of Colac West and the Rotary Club Of Colac to provide a casserole tea for the BlazeAid workers at Kawarren tonight.

A big thank you to all our members who cooked such delicious casseroles, and to those who helped out in the kitchen — your efforts made the evening a great success.

It was wonderful to hear the stories and experiences from the BlazeAid team and to share some time together.

We’ll be doing it all again on Monday 27th April — looking forward to it!

Well done everyone 👏

What an inspiring evening at our joint Rotary dinner with the Rotary Club of Colac and Colac West!

We were delighted to hear from National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) participants Ash de Jong (Colac Secondary College) and Ned Pyle (Trinity College), who shared their incredible experiences in Canberra. From engaging with leading scientists to exploring future career pathways, their stories truly highlighted the life-changing impact of the NYSF program.

Ash and Ned spoke with great enthusiasm about the opportunities they were given and expressed their sincere gratitude for the support and sponsorship provided by Rotary. It’s moments like these that remind us why investing in our young people is so important.

Thank you to Ash and Ned for such an engaging and inspiring presentation—we can’t wait to see where your futures in science and innovation take you!

Day 9 of our Share the Dignity Drive and we’re already seeing some amazing generosity! 💗

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far — your support is making a real difference. Today’s photo shows just some of the wonderful contributions we’ve received, with two big bags already filled with essential women’s products.

Our drive runs until the end of March, so there’s still plenty of time to help. We would love to collect even more items to support women in need in our community.

You can donate by placing products in the pink collection boxes located at Woolworths Woolworths and Blooms The Chemist stores. A big thank you to these businesses for hosting the boxes and supporting the drive.

Every donation, big or small, helps restore dignity and provide essential care. 💕
