Rotary is an organisation that provides humanitarian service, encourages high standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world while meeting new friends and having fun. And we will continue the theme with our Books for Bubs and Books for Beginners program. Every 4 mth old who visits the Maternal Health Centre and every Prep student in the district receives a free book from our Club. Thanks to ACCIONA. South West Community Foundation. Colac Otway Shire Council and Rotary District 9780 for funding over many years to make this happen.

We’re delighted to welcome Christine Mahoney as the newest member of our Rotary Club — our second new member induction in just a couple of weeks! 🎉

The coming together of Colac’s two Rotary Clubs has created a stronger, more vibrant club that is more connected, more welcoming and more attractive to our community — and these new members are proof that the new wave is underway! 🙌

There’s something special about welcoming a new member into the Rotary family — and we were delighted to recently induct Jenna Robinson into our newly merged Rotary Club. 💙💛

Jenna has been part of the Rotary Club of Colac Otway Trail Run for several years, enjoying the friendships, fellowship and opportunities to make a difference that Rotary brings.

Having spent time getting to know our wonderful Rotarians and experiencing what Rotary is all about, Jenna decided it was time to take the next step — and we are absolutely thrilled she has joined us! 🙌

🌟 What a weekend! 🌟

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to our Rotary catering shed at the Showgrounds during the CAH Winter Festival! ❤️

To all our amazing Rotary members, family, friends and volunteers who gave up their time to cook, serve, clean, laugh, chat and keep the food flowing — we couldn’t have done it without you! 👏🍔☕️

And of course, a massive thank you to all the wonderful festival patrons who stopped by, supported our catering shed and helped make the day such a success. Your support means so much to us! 🙏

Weekends like this are a great reminder of what Rotary is all about — good people, good food, plenty of laughs, and giving back to our community. 💙

Today was our last coffee catch-up with the lovely Michelle before she and Shane head off to begin an exciting new chapter in their working lives. Naturally, we dressed for the occasion—because if there's one thing we know, it's that every farewell deserves a little fun! ☕🎉

Michelle has been a treasured friend of our Rotary family. During her years with the club, she made such a difference through our Books for Beginners program, sharing stories and smiles with countless Prep students. Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help wherever needed have left a lasting mark on our club and our community.

Michelle, thank you for the laughter, the friendship, and the many happy memories. While we're sad to see you go, we're so excited for what lies ahead for you and Shane.

South Australia is gaining two wonderful people. Don't be strangers... and remember, there's always a coffee waiting for you whenever you come back for a visit! 💙☕📚
