Cohuna parkrun

Cohuna parkrun Bring the kids, bring the pram, bring the dog. Everyone welcome. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk.

Cohuna parkrun is a free, timed, 5km run/walk or jog put on by our Volunteers at 7.45am every Saturday Garden Park Cohuna creekside of Gateway Information Centre. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Cohuna parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular b

asis to enjoy our beautiful location and get physically active in the process. We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Taking part is easy – just register in advance by 6pm on the Friday on https://www.parkrun.com.au/register/?section=form before your first ever parkrun event and print out your barcode. The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once! Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there! Don't forget to bring your barcode.

Thanks to our participants joining us today, we had 34 people run/walking with 9 wonderful volunteers.
We welcomed 9 first timers and visitors from the Gold Coast Wyndham Vale and Coburg.
5 runners achieved a PB congratulations 🙌.

Thanks to all our participants for coming out this morning. We had 30 parkrunners complete our 5km course and 9 hi-vis heroes who made it happen. We welcomed Matt to his first ever parkrun and two return visitors - thanks for coming.

Check out today's stats - looks like the ladies are outnumbering the gents in both the participants and volunteers.

Are you ready for parkrun? Got kids? No worries, bring them too. Got a pram? No worries, bring it too. Our Cohuna parkrun path is a suitable surface and wide enough for prams - so you can run or walk with ease (you just can't also bring your dog if you have a pram).

We look forward to seeing you creekside behind the Gateway Visitor Centre in Garden Park for the run briefing at 7.50am ready for an 8am take-off. Visitors and first timers to Cohuna parkrun, please arrive around 7.45am.
