Volunteer Opportunity – EAPA Application Processor

Are you looking to make a real difference in the community? Bridging the Gap Community Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated volunteer to assist with processing Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) applications.

Role: EAPA Application Processor
Hours: Flexible (up to 15 hours per week)
Commitment: Centrelink-approved voluntary placement
Training: Full training provided – no prior experience needed!

Key Responsibilities:
Assist individuals in need by processing EAPA applications
Accurately complete and submit forms
Provide guidance on eligibility and documentation requirements
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with program guidelines
Uphold strict confidentiality and privacy standards
Work with a supportive team to help those experiencing financial hardship

Ideal Candidate:
Strong attention to detail
Confident in filling out forms accurately
Basic computer skills
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Empathetic and willing to help people in need
