Narranga Public School Community Hub has partnered with the MakeSpace at Yarrila Place to use their sewing machines. Monday is sewing day and alongside personal projects we have also made more than 30 unique library bags ready for library users.

Our Thursday class is for people who speak some English but need some intensive discussion, grammar and learning about Australian English. It can assist you in understanding English in the community and your work. It runs from 9.10am-11 at Narranga Public School on Thursdays.

Free home internet for eligible students!
It’s not too late for families or carers to apply to join the SSBI. If there is a school age student in the home and there is no current nbn network connection, that home may still qualify for free nbn home internet until 30 June 2028.
If you know of a household with no current nbn network connection that may benefit from this program and would like to apply, get them to follow the steps below:
Contact the National Referral Centre on 1800 954 610 between Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm (AEDT) or visit School Student Broadband Initiative National Referral CentreExternal link.
They’ll be asked some questions to see if they qualify for the SSBI service.
If the applicant qualifies, they will receive a voucher.
They can then use the voucher to establish a free connection through their chosen participating internet provider. Please note: They will need to use their voucher before the SSBI cap of 30,000 SSBI service connections is reached.

Narranga Public School has a visit from Services NSW and Services Australia to help families with a convenient drop in visit. You can also book Savings Finder appointments to see what rebates you may be entitled to.
Narranga Public School has many ways we help families including our food pantry. Please ask at the Front Office or the Community Hub.
