The Labor Party committed to protecting over 300,000ha of land for koalas 🐨 in 2015. However, the NSW Government has failed to gazette the promised Great Koala National Park, with hundreds of hectares of this native forest being logged each week.

More than 100 political leaders, academics, environment and climate experts have signed this open letter calling on the NSW Premier to immediately end all logging of koala habitat in public native forests. We need to get as many Australians as possible to add their names to the open letter to Premier Chris Minns! It asks that the Premier acts in a way that respects the science. No delay. No excuses. No carbon offsets.
