What a wonderful afternoon! 📚☕💙

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday. It was a full house and a fantastic afternoon of conversation, laughter, delicious food and a shared love of books!

We are incredibly grateful to our inspiring guest authors, Holly Craig Author and Libby Iriks, for generously sharing their stories, insights and writing journeys with us. They were so generous with their time and we give them both our heartfelt THANKS!

Thank you to everyone who attended, purchased books, bought raffle tickets and supported our homemade craft stall. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $1,000 for the local women's refuge. Every ticket purchased and raffle entry made will help support women and families in our community.

A special thank you to David Scaife MLA for generously donating a $100 prize voucher for our raffle, and to Logan Howlett, Mayor of the City of Cockburn, for his support of our event and ongoing support of our branch.

Finally, thank you to our dedicated members whose hard work behind the scenes made the afternoon such a success. Events like these simply wouldn't happen without your time, care and community spirit.

We hope everyone left with a full heart, a full stomach, and perhaps a new favourite book 🥰 We look forward to welcoming you to our next event!

What a wonderful weekend away at our CWA Cockburn Craft Retreat in Dwellingup! 🧵🧶☕

New skills learnt, creative ideas shared, and there was no shortage of cups of tea, delicious meals, laughter and friendship.

These weekends are about so much more than crafting. They are about connection, learning from one another, and taking the time to enjoy good company.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a special retreat. We are already looking forward to the next one!
