Climate Action Merri-bek We are a community based grassroots climate action group in Merri-bek since 2009 affiliated with Climate Action Network Australia.

We have a Community Grant from Merri-bek Council. All Electoral comment authorised by Secretary, Andrea Bunting, Brunswick. Formed by local residents in 2008 as Climate Action Moreland, Climate Action Merribek updated its name in 2022 in conjunction with the municipality name update.. We are a local grassroots climate action group. We engage in advocacy for climate action to match the science at local, state, and Federal levels of Government and internationally.

Join us to celebrate World Environment Day with multicultural communities in Merri-bek! 🌍

Everyone is welcome to this free, family-friendly event to explore everyday sustainable practices in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

There will be:
• Stalls led by local community groups
• Discussions on sustainability with local faith leaders and young people
• Kids activities, face painting and henna
• Free Halal lunch and coffee
