ATT: Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, family members

Welcome Back to Scouting 2026!!!

We are beginning our year with an ALL SECTIONS night
‘CANOEING AND FAMILY FUN NIGHT’
When: Wednesday 4th February 5pm start
Where: Cobden Lake (aka the dam!) meet at the covered bbq shelter
What: Canoeing, Outdoor activities, and family BBQ

No uniform required but please wear your SCARF, and if you want to canoe please bring a change of clothes (We don’t plan on anyone falling in…but some splashing may occur 🤣🤣)

We encourage families to attend and join in the fun, get to know your leaders better and meet our new District Commissioner. A BBQ tea will be provided () please comment below how many of you will be coming for catering purposes

We can’t wait to see you all!

🌊 Sailing Sunday! 🏴‍☠️⛵

What an amazing day our Scouts and Venturers!
In the morning, we learnt all about PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices) and how to rig a sailboat. Then in the afternoon, we put our new knowledge to the test — learning to sail and heading out on the water!

Everyone did a fantastic job working towards their Sailing Badges and showing great teamwork and enthusiasm. ⚓💨

Well done Scouts and Venturers — what a brilliant way to spend the day! 👏🌞

Today our Venturers, Scouts and Cubs had the opportunity to develop their paddling skills by canoeing on the Cobden Dam.
A small but brave group spent the afternoon on the water, learning to control the canoes with different strokes and exploring all around the dam! A lot of fun was had by everyone!
