The Rotary Club of Cobar was pleased to be able to host 15 members of the Recreational Vehicle Fellowship of Rotarians at our Club meeting last night as they passed through Cobar on their way to Flinders in SA.

A great opportunity to catch up with fellow Rotarians and share stories of Club activities and assisting our communities.

A great shout-out to Regional Australia Bank for their very much appreciated donation of $835-91 from their 2025 Community Partnership Program to the Rotary Club of Cobar.

This money will be utilised to assist local community groups in the future.

The Cobar Rotary Club has been busy again recently supporting the Engineering and Science Challenge with the catering.

Some 180 students from Western NSW gathered at the Cobar Bowling and Golf Club to see which School would represent the west of the State in the finals later in the Year.

Cobar High School came out on top again.

Photos show Rotary Club members cooking up a storm on the day, and a couple of willing students ready to serve food to their colleagues.

The Rotary Club of Cobar was active again in 2025 cooking a BBQ Lunch for the Cobar Australia Day celebrations at the Cobar Swimming Pool.
While our hard-working BBQ cooks produced the steaks and sausages for the hungry local residents, we had a visit from the Cobar Australia Day Ambassador and renown Paramedic Paul Featherstone.
