Moreton Bay Region (East) Youth Council All schools in the MBR(E), which includes North Lakes, Deception Bay and Redcliffe. We elected a Mayor, a Deputy Mayor and three Chairs of our portfolios.

To form and develop a recognised youth body that acts as a reference group and is considered a stakeholder in public consultation for the Moreton Bay Region (East). Students from each school in the Moreton Bay Region (East) are invited to sit on the Youth Council for 12 months. Our portfolios are: Sports & Rec, Arts & Culture, the Environment, and our Junior Council (year 7s). We meet every month

as a council at the Moreton Bay Regional Council Chambers, at Redcliffe, and our portfolios meet at least once a month.
