SHORTEST DAY SHORTEST COMP 21/06/26. Epic day to kick off a belated start to SABRs 2026 calendar. Treated to sunshine, light offshore winds and a classic Cliffy rip bowl- team SABR tucked in! Some high quality surfing and more importantly plenty of cheesy grins getting around the beach. The most popular event of the day had to be the under 10 Micro groms. All fuelled up on bbq goods and soft drink the mini shredders sent it into the sand, much to the approval of the peanut gallery on the beach…….well done to our event winners on the day….. Sorry for the late update but it just hasn’t eventuated for us this weekend. Multiple people checking waves today and we are not confident it will be contestable tomorrow. We want to kick our year off in some reasonable conditions. Enjoy the sunshine :)

Yesterday morning was fun ☀️ 🏄‍♂️ 🌊

We’d like to thank all the parents for bringing their kids down to the beach for an early morning surf before school! It’s great to see so many happy kids frothing on surfing and having the best time….

Best way to start the day, making memories and having a surf with friends…. Not to mention the breaky provided by SABR and families after the surf! Makes us wonder if the kids are coming for the surf or the nutrigrain 😝

This morning saw our 4th SABR GROM SESSION for the season and how good??

The groms were frothing on the waves then it was breakfast, followed by some cricket and then NO SCHOOL…. For the public school kids!
