This wonderful mother and son team from Yamba, NSW are frequent helpers at The Rabbit Sanctuary in Grafton.

At The Rabbit Sanctuary, Volunteers mix so many different hays into the 6 Hay Mix. These are selectively purchased by Kim Cooney with great care from areas known for the best hays.

DID YOU SEE THE BUNNY ON THE FERRY?
Foster bunny by day… movie critic by night.

Our amazing volunteer ⭐️Foster Carer Steve Parry took foster bunny Mr Snufflesnout on a little adventure this week — a ferry ride to see The Mandalorian movie!

Apparently Mr Snufflesnout was completely fascinated by the boats and sparkling water, spending both ferry trips glued to the window watching the world go by. 🌊🚤

But the best part?
Steve says he watched the movie attentively the entire time… and may genuinely believe he’s Grogu. 💚✨

From rescue bunny to ferry passenger to cinema companion — this is the kind of safe, loving socialisation that helps rescue rabbits grow in confidence and trust people again.

At The Rabbit Sanctuary, our foster carers don’t just provide shelter.
They provide friendship, comfort, adventure… and apparently movie nights too. 🐰🍿

Thank you Steve for giving this little bunny such a beautiful experience and so much love.
