***ALTERNATIVE COURSE TO BE USED THIS SATURDAY 17TH OCTOBER***
🌿 It's that time of year again - the Clare Show is on this Saturday and we will be using our alternative course.

Things to note:
🌿 Our alternative course starts on the Riesling Trail where it crosses Wendouree Road, next to St Helen's Cottages
🌿 Wendouree Road is 1km north of the Clare Valley Visitor Centre and is opposite Clare Rise Bakery.
🌿 Please park at Clare Rise Bakery on Horrocks Highway or in the car park off Wendouree Road next to the Trail.
🌿 Please do not park on the roadside as it is not safe to do so. There will be car parking marshals to assist you.
🌿 Our alternative course is marginally longer due to parkrun requirements.

parkrun #510 10 October 2026
It was a cool October day, with a cold westerly blowing... but it didn't rain. 82 runners and walkers participated. We had visitors from Perth, Brisbane and Sydney and several people from other parkruns in Adelaide. Six did their very first parkrun today... we hope they will join us again.
Congratulations to Simon, Joseph, Dean, Kenny, Lucy and Edward who did a personal best today.
Thank you to this week's volunteers: Sarah, Sophie, Sue, Christy, Megan and Lynn.

parkrun #509 3 October 2026
We welcomed 106 runners and walkers today, a larger number than usual, with most of the visitors coming from South Australia and one from Busselton in WA. A cool morning, with a challenging southerly blowing.

Congratulations to those who achieved a PB, especially Juniors Charlotte, Harry, Jack and Kenny.

A large group came from out of Clare to support one of their friends who did her final event to complete participation in every one of the 53 South Australian parkruns. These visitors helped by volunteering, with two of our regular volunteers, Kirsty and Sue, filling the remaining positions on the roster.
