A massive congratulations to our senior coach, Chris “Squid” Williams on winning his third C.L Burley Medal (NGFNL Senior B&F) last night. Unfortunately Squid was not present to accept his medal but we will present him with the medal & trophy on Thursday night. Squid now joins Brian Graham Jnr as the only two footballers to have won this medal three times.
Well done Squid, a fantastic achievement👏👏👏👏

🔵🟡 WELCOME HOME, BRENDAN MASON! 🟡🔵

We’re thrilled to welcome Brendan Mason back home to Churchill as a player and assistant coach!

After six seasons at Boolarra, including the past three as senior coach, Brendan returns to the Cougars with plenty of experience and achievements under his belt, including multiple senior Best & Fairest wins and Team of the Year selections.

Maso has already been part of some special moments in the blue and gold. He captained our 2014 U18 Premiership side, coached our 2018 U18 Premiership team, and was a member of our 2019 Senior Premiership side.

An accomplished midfielder, proven leader and someone with strong ties to our club, we couldn’t be happier to have Brendan back where it all started.
