A stirring colourful sunrise followed by very mild winter conditions greeted our 61 parkrunners/parkwalkers this morning, which included eight first timers to Churchill.
We welcomed visitors from Newborough, Jess and Blair Muller and their extended family, who told us that they found the Churchill experience very welcoming.
Providing lots of inspiration was young energetic first time parkrunner Ava Walter, who became our first female finisher. Congratulations go to mIlestone 400 runners, the evergreen Marie and Geoff Gunn, who also completed in the same time of 32:59.
Well done to Kathryn Edgar and Memphis Wilkinson on achieving PBs.
Thank you to our nine official volunteers today for helping make the event run so smoothly and also to others such as Carol Summersgill, Kim Charleston and Verity Keith, who always assist:

Good luck to all participants competing in the various Traralgon Harriers Athletic Club Marathon events tomorrow. We hope you have a blast.

Another great parkrun held at Churchill with 72 people finishing our Eel Hole Creek course.
It was pretty good weather and thanks to Des's efforts repairing the track from the motorbike damage, it was a good fast track with five people getting PB's.
As well as our excellent regular volunteers, we also had some help from Manny from the big smoke who took some great photos for us. As well as taking the photos, Manny alos completed the course which I think gave us an interesting perspective of the whole track.
We also had a visit from our parkrun ambassador Al who seemed to like most things about our parkrun except maybe the hills!
We only had the one milestone, congratulations to Kym on her 25th event.
You will be in the more competent hands of Heather next week, hope to see you there.

Hi Churchill parkrunners.
It looks like a dry morning tomorrow, might be a bit windy but I think we will cope.
We have a full roster so it should be a good one.

This week 76 people ran, jogged, sauntered, walked and talked their way along our Eel Hole Creek course.
We had 2 first timers - Caroline, visiting from Warragul and Maddison - we trust you both enjoyed your visit to Churchill parkrun, and look forward welcoming you again.
Personal Bests were recorded by 4 people - well done Kassie L, Spencer A, Ella C, and Jim L.
Congratulations also to Verity K on completing your 300th parkrun.
The event was made possible these 12 wonderful volunteers; thank you for making my job on the day so much easier.
