The Student Association of University Notre Dame Australia (SAUNDA) is the voice for Broadway and Darlinghurst students. We are elected student representatives who work non-stop (both voluntarily and happily) to serve students. We provide events and lead initiatives to benefit the cultural, academic and spiritual experience of students throughout the year. The aim of SAUNDA is to ensure the vibran
cy of student life and that students are aware of all that Notre Dame has to offer. However, we don’t just host events. Some of our primary duties are behind the scenes: overseeing the affiliation and activity of all Clubs and Societies as well as being the direct line of communication between students and UNDA staff executives. We even have three SAUNDA representatives sitting on the National Student Board, a committee with both Vice Chancellor Professor Francis Campbell, Pro Vice Chancellor for Student Experience Professor Selma Alliex and the University Secretary, Robyn Adams as fellow board members. We describe ourselves as ‘the voice’ and ‘the platform’ for students – and we stand by this statement. SAUNDA is your go to guys for any issue, concern or idea regarding the university, study or student life. It is our role to be present and listen to students – so give us something to shout about!
