El Niño is here, bringing the prospect of hotter, drier conditions across Australia.​

For farmers, changing conditions can bring challenges, from managing water supplies and feed to protecting crops and livestock through warmer weather.​

Farming has always been about adapting to what each season brings. And while some seasons can be more challenging than others, farming families don’t have to face them alone.​

Time is running out to help us stock the Farm Angels warehouse with new toys and gifts for farming families who may need a little extra support throughout the year.​

We’ve got some wonderful toy donations on their way in, but we still need more to help keep our shelves stocked and make sure there are plenty of items available when families need them.​

Farmers spend long days planting, growing, harvesting and caring for livestock, often working around whatever the weather throws their way.​

This International Day of Rural Women, we’re recognising the women who help keep our rural communities going. 💓​

They’re farmers, mothers, daughters, partners, business owners, volunteers and so much more.​

They’re up before sunrise, working alongside their families, running businesses, caring for their communities and juggling it all.​

Through natural disasters, financial pressure and the everyday challenges of life on the land, rural women continue to show incredible strength, resilience and care for the people around them.​

Here’s to the women who keep their communities moving, no matter what the season brings!

On the farm, we’re often used to seeing people push through the tough days, put others first and keep moving forward.​

This World Mental Health Day, take a moment to notice the little changes. A mate who’s gone quiet. Someone who seems more withdrawn than usual. A farmer who’s stopped doing the things they normally enjoy.​

You don’t need to have the right words or all the answers. Sometimes, simply asking “Are you okay?” and letting someone know you’re there can make a difference.​

And if you’re the one struggling, our Angels are only a phone call away. Reach out to our team for support when you need it.

The toys are rolling in, but we still have plenty of room on our shelves! ❤️​

Thanks to everyone who has donated to our Annual Toy Drive so far. We’re still collecting new toys and gifts to replenish our warehouse and support farming families throughout the year.​

Every donation can brighten the day of a child whose family is facing difficult times.

In January, the Alexandra bushfires took so much from the farming community in Victoria - paddocks, fences, and even entire homes. ​

Simpsons Fuel and Alexandra Events teamed up to bring the Flanno for a Farmer campaign to Alexandra's main street, raising an incredible $4,500 through sourdough bread and jam donut sales, donations and a raffle, with prizes generously donated by local businesses. ​

Farm Angels is proud to be apart of such projects that bring communities together, focus on recovery and wellbeing and most importantly - support the farmers who need it most! ​

The Western Australia Long Drive has officially kicked off at the Jennacubbine Tavern!

We are so excited to embark on this 8 day journey across the state to raise vital funds and awareness for the support we provide to farmers nationwide. This incredible initiative was brought to life by Dan Sutherland, who was inspired by his experience with the 2024 East Coast Long Drive for Drought

We are incredibly grateful to Dan for his passion and dedication in making this dream a reality for WA. Stay tuned as we travel through the state—we can't wait to share the journey with you! 🚜💨
