We are so grateful to have local people and businesses who are willing to support our little Playgroup and help us continue raising funds to improve our centre for our children and families.

Not only do our families get some gorgeous photos and memories to keep, but they're also helping support their local Playgroup at the same time!

💛🎉 THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING OPEN DAY! 🎉💛

What a fantastic day! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday to celebrate the Chidlow Family Playgroup Open Day — and an incredible 50 years of Chidlow Playgroup! 🥳

From around ten local families meeting at Chidlow Hall in 1976 to moving to our permanent place in 1989 with more than 50 children attending today, it was so special to celebrate how far our little Playgroup has come.

A huge thank you to the Shire of Mundaring for their continued support and grant for the open day

Thank you also to Paige McNeil President Shire of Mundaring, Councillor John Daw, Dave Grills - Councillor - Shire of Mundaring East Ward , Adam Hort MLA , Klasey Hirst MLC Playgroup WA , Community Bank Mundaring, Midvale Hub Parenting Service Perth North East , and Chidlow Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade for supporting our Playgroup and helping make the day so special. 🚒💛

To our amazing committee — Kaitlyn, Sami, Casey M, Casey H and Kelly — A big thank you to Karen and Bill Goodard and Kerry for all your help cooking the BBQ and help throughout the day and all our members and volunteers who baked, donated, fundraised, set up, packed up and helped throughout the day: THANK YOU! We couldn't do it without you. ❤️

Saturday was a perfect reminder that Playgroup is about so much more than toys. It's about friendship, support, connection and finding your village.

Thank you to everyone who came along, supported us and celebrated with us.

🎈 Here’s to 50 years of Chidlow Family Playgroup — and many, many more to come! 🎈

Now I just need to figure out what to do with myself without an Open Day to organise… although I'm sure I'll come up with another idea soon. 😂
