At Beecroft Football Club, we’re proud to be part of Lifeblood Teams, the group donation program for Australian Red Cross Lifeblood.

Being part of a Lifeblood Team means joining something bigger than yourself. It’s about doing good together, working towards a shared goal, and seeing how many lives you can save along the way.

Why donate?
Did you know 1 in 3 people will need blood, but only 1 in 30 donate? The need for blood is growing every day, and your donation can help people who are:
- Fighting cancer
- Undergoing surgery
- Experiencing complicated pregnancies
- Living with blood disorders or autoimmune diseases
- And countless more conditions

Members of our committee alongside MAA3 teammates, had a great night celebrating our Beecroft wins and the success of all clubs in NWSF, at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club on Friday

Last Saturday, 220+ Beecroft FC Wombats packed The Verandah to celebrate a massive 2026 season, elect our 2027 committee and honor our standout Wombats.

A massive highlight of the night? The exclusive sneak peek of our brand-new 70th-Anniversary club crest! 👀🔥 If you were in the room, you know exactly how good it looks. For everyone else... keep your eyes glued to our pages. The official social media reveal is coming VERY soon, and we promise it’s worth the wait!

Our ultimate club honor goes to an absolute powerhouse: Melissa Ross! Presented last Saturday night by Nick Bedford from McGrath Beecroft , we want to say a massive thank you to the team at McGrath for generously sponsoring this prestigious award.

Mel is the backbone of our club behind the scenes. From managing endless gear as our Equipment Manager, to driving our 70th-anniversary logo rebrand (coming to social media soon!), securing vital sponsorships, and organising our social events—she does it all tirelessly.

🏆 PRESIDENT’S AWARD

Our 2026 President’s Award goes to the unstoppable Eka Tian! Eka was presented with this massive honor by Mayor Warren Waddell and Club President Bella Dalton (Nimmo) at our awards night last Saturday.

Eka single-handedly set up a 3rd Women’s Masters team, helps with Women’s Prems, and supports her kids, her Friday night team, and our committee endlessly. She is relentlessly positive and always ready to go the extra mile. We are pretty sure no one has spent more hours at Cheltenham Oval this year! Thank you to the Mayor for helping us recognise her dedication! 👏

This award recognises sportsmanship and humanity that goes well beyond the game, and this year it goes to our Men’s AA3 team, presented to them last Saturday night

Following a tragic medical incident on the pitch that saw the passing of a Redbacks FC player, our AA3 boys showed profound resilience and unity. They stood by their opponents, moving their own match times to attend memorials, observing minutes of silence, and offering a space for healing. True sportsmanship in every sense of the word. đź‘Ź

Take a bow Justin! Justin Steelw was awarded the 2026 Coach of the Year by Director of Coaching Les Reid at our awards presentation last Saturday night.

Justin took our U12/6 team to both Premiership AND Championship glory this season. He transformed training and molded an enthusiastic group of young men into an organised, unbeatable squad who play for each other every single week. A true coaching masterclass!

Huge congratulations to Christine Croaker, who was presented with this prestigious award by Councillor Verity Greenwood last Saturday night!

Christine’s football journey is so inspiring—she found her love for the game watching her kids play, jumped into Summer Soccer, and hasn’t looked back! She stepped up massively to recruit for our new Ruby Masters team and continues to support the club off the pitch by helping run our Minis. Thank you for everything you do to grow the female game!
