The Women’s Handicap Club Championships proved to be a fantastic event, with a brilliant turnout for the inaugural Handicap Doubles competition.

It was wonderful to see so many ladies taking part, with excellent matches played throughout the tournament — including several contests featuring significant handicap differences that made for exciting and competitive tennis.

In the final, V. Fitzgerald & S. Jobson defeated T. O’Brien & J. Shenstone 6/1 6/1 to claim the title.

The level of participation and enthusiasm from our ladies’ section was outstanding. We’re incredibly proud to see the women’s game continuing to grow at SRTC, and we look forward to building on this momentum with an even bigger draw next year.
