Writing poetry isn’t just about words on a page.
It’s about expression. It’s about survival. It’s about being heard in a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming or hard to navigate.
I write my poetry to express how I’m truly feeling — the struggles, the growth, the lessons, and the goals I’m reaching for. It’s my safe way of speaking without interruption. My way of standing in my truth without fear of judgment.
This space is for kindness.
This space is for courage.
This space is for connection.
Please feel free to drop your poems or short stories in the comments. Your words might be exactly what someone else needs to read today. You might bring comfort, understanding, or even just a simple smile.
Let’s keep this family-friendly and supportive.
No judgment — only respect and encouragement.
I’ll start. ✨
She Still Matters
Failure is all she thinks she knows,
no matter how she blooms, it never shows.
Each victory fades before her eyes,
doubt stealing the truth her heart denies.
She’d gift her children the whole wide world,
if love alone could make it unfurl.
She stands for them when the world throws stones,
protecting their hearts while breaking her own.
People whisper of choices made,
but never see the reasons laid.
They judge the turns that shaped her way,
not the storms she fought each day.
Those who speak loud hide deepest scars,
pretending perfection beneath their masks.
They cast their blame to feel more pure,
while her kindness stays quiet, sure.
They overlook her strength and care,
the way she loves beyond despair.
Her soul a lantern in the night,
still burning low, but holding light.
Let them talk, let them lie
the truth will outlast every cry.
For those who truly know her heart,
have loved her fiercely from the start.
So hold your head high, beautiful one,
this battle’s not yet fully done.
You matter more than you believe,
and love still waits, if you can breathe.
Stay strong, brave warrior, don’t let go,
the world still needs your heart to show
This I wrote for someone special 💖
