We are excited to have a festival this year keep an eye out for more information.

The current committee has decided to have another festival.
It will look different this year , we will let you know when we have locked in all our ideas.
So save the date Saturday 26th September and 27th September at Finch Hatton Showgrounds.

Who’s going to compete in this years Charters Towers Country Music Festival?

Talent Quest, Song Writing and Prince & Princess Entry Forms (online and digital) are LIVE on our website: charterstowerscountrymusicfestival.com
Here's what you need to know about 2026:
- Prices have not changed from 2025.
- There will not be a cap on the number of Anything But Country (ABC) entries. All entries received by the due date will be accepted.
- ABC sections will run in the Barn at the Showgrounds with full sound equipment.
- ABC will be backing tracks or self-backing ONLY. No backing band will be available for this section.
- Entrants can enter as a solo and a duo/band in the ABC sections. Max 2 entries per entrant.
- Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not permitted in the Song Writing section.
