Grateful we can support programs like this in our community!

Wow what a response! The class for O-3 years is now fully booked. We are now able to offer a few additional spaces, for 4- 15 years, but enrolments will close at midnight on Sunday 1st February. We are sending all our best well wishes to all our Campdraft friends and family in Victoria battling with fires and catastrophic weather conditions.

Everyone please stay safe, look after yourselves and your animals as best as you can.

As we are still dealing with flare-ups from our own fires before Christmas, we do not feel it's safe to offer paddocks here but there has been a lot of other wonderful people doing just that, one of them being the Belcecs from Bunnaloo Campdraft Club.

If people know of others, please comment below and share. Potentially could be a central location for those in need.

On Wednesday night we held our annual general meeting.

Congratulations to Charlton Campdraft Clubs 2026 executive committee.

President: Lou Sheahan
Lou will also oversee the role of Event Secretary and Sponsorship Coordinator

Vice President: Tahlijia Sheahan
Tahls once again will work behind the scenes and look after our socials.

Treasurer/Secretary: Terri Wolfe
Terri has not only been our gun Treasurer since the beginning. But once again has also taken on Secretary and now Grants Officer.

Assistant Event Secretary: Natalie Bourke
Nat has been our number 1 first aider over the last couple of years. But now will be learning the Event Secretary ropes.

We also have Ash Sheahan as our animal welfare officer. Ash and the team at Teys Charlton Feedlot kindly donate the cattle for all our events and we wouldn't be able to run our draft and events without them.

Big thanks to Tessa for all her work in successfully obtaining grants for the club during the last 12 months.

We would also like to thank our general committee members.

The club is excited to see what 2026 brings!

For those of you who missed out, on the Saturday night of our draft we had a mechanical bull competition with the top riders being auctioned off in a Calcutta. The winner of the Calcutta would split the winnings, taking home 50% and the other 50% to go to a charity of their choice.

When Jeff saw '7 million dollar bull rider' (Lane Browne) enter the ring, he knew he had to take his bets on him for the Calcutta. Jeff took home the win and picked a wonderful charity to support- Boys to the Bush. This morning we transferred the money and so we wanted to shout out everyone involved for making the night what it was.
