Something exciting has been in the works with the wonderful team at Stationery Aid!

We’ve been working together to help get affordable, eco-friendly and customised stationery packs into the hands of students at rural schools, making sure country kids have the tools they need in the classroom.

Amy recently spent the morning with Alison and the Stationery Aid volunteers, picking up our very first batch of packs. They’ll be on their way to schools very soon, travelling alongside our regular Brekkie in a Bag deliveries.

A huge thank you to Alison and the entire Stationery Aid team for working with us to make this possible. We’re looking forward to seeing where this partnership takes us and, most importantly, seeing these packs reach rural students.

We’ve just received the official photos from the RRR Women’s Long Luncheon!

Our CEO, Bec, and our Community Investment and Partnerships Manager, Amy, recently joined a powerful afternoon of connection, shared stories, and celebration. It was fantastic to reconnect with Fiona Maxwell from The John Villiers Trust, Caitlin McConnel, Hon Fiona Simpson MP GAICD, and so many inspiring leaders who made the event such a meaningful success!

Gathering together to champion regional, rural, and remote women is always energising, but events like this truly remind us of the strength, capability, and impact within our communities.

A huge thank you to everyone who put so much effort into hosting such an important day!

Another fantastic day at the Ekka, celebrating the people, animals and communities at the heart of rural Australia!

A highlight of Day Two was the Livestock Barbecue, proudly presented by Aussie Helpers, where our team enjoyed dinner alongside producers and exhibitors. We also had the privilege of speaking at the event and presenting prizes to the winning exhibitors of the Dairy Cattle competition

It was a great opportunity to recognise the hard work, dedication and passion that goes into exhibiting livestock, and to spend time with the people who contribute so much to our agricultural communities.

Of course, we managed to squeeze in a little more exploring too! From meeting some of the animals in the Animal Nursery to taking in more of the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the show, there was plenty to enjoy.

We love being at the Ekka and having the opportunity to connect with the rural communities Aussie Helpers is here to support. 💙

Day One at the Ekka, and what a way to kick things off for our team!

Aussie Helpers is proud to be sponsoring the Dairy Cattle Competition at this year’s Royal Queensland Show, celebrating the people, animals and agricultural communities that are the lifeblood of Australia.

Our first day brought together team members from Allora, Charleville, Gladstone and Brisbane - a fitting representation of just how far and wide our team reaches across just Queensland alone.

We spent more than 14 hours at the Showgrounds taking in the dairy judging, meeting exhibitors, presenting ribbons and getting amongst everything the Ekka has to offer – with a touch of pink cow milking and some after-hours Ekka fun along the way!

A huge congratulations to all the dairy cattle exhibitors and winners. We’re proud to support an industry and community that works incredibly hard all year round!

We’re geared up and ready to do it all again tomorrow!

When we talk about standing beside our country communities through thick and thin, it’s moments like this that show us what that really means in practice.

Last year, Aussie Helpers worked with Bunnings Dubbo to get a 10,000-litre rainwater tank donated and freighted out to Girilambone Public School in western NSW, this was a necessity for the school but would have blown their budget had they took it on themselves.

With rain hard to come by recently, Principal Wendy and her 5 students have officially had to switch over to using this tank for the very first time.

Because of this tank, the school doesn’t have to ration water to the point of losing their grounds. These five legends will still have green grass underfoot to run around on during lunch. Not to mention the school budget savings being put towards better learning outcomes and life experiences.

It might seem like a simply thing, but for a small hush school, keeping normal life going during dry spells makes a real difference!

A wonderful show of community spirit in Tweed Heads, NSW, where Judi and Les, along with friends, neighbours and others in their community, have gathered an amazing collection of items for Aussie Helpers.

Our vehicle was packed to the brim - and while our team member, Amy, was there, another three people even popped in with donations!

These items will be making their way to Charleville, where they’ll help support farming families and rural communities.

A huge thank you to Judi and Les, everyone who contributed to this collection, and all the generous people and communities across Australia who continue to support Aussie Helpers in so many different ways.

Every donation, big or small, helps us continue Helping the Heart of Our Country!
