Lodge Cessnock extends its congratulations to Worshipful Brother Lucas Woods. Your dedication as a Mason and leader is commendable, and our brethren wish you a fulfilling year marked by Masonic accomplishments, fraternal camaraderie, and impactful service to charity. Our reception remains always open to you and your brethren.
We had a Great Evening Celebrating Lodge Maitland No 4’s Installation …
Lodge Maitland No. 4 held its annual Installation meeting, marking the start of the 2026–2027 term with the re-installation of W Bro Lucas Woods into the Chair of King Solomon. This was ably performed by RW Bro Darrel Heard with a high degree of skill, dignity and solemnity that our outgoing WM is well known for. As the inaugural Master following the recent amalgamation of our two Lodges, Darrel faced the unique challenge of bringing different traditions together under one banner. His steady leadership, wisdom and guidance were key to making the transition a success, leaving the Lodge united in love and unity, standing together on a firm footing for the future.
The meeting was well-attended by members, ladies and guests with many brethren travelling long distances from every direction to attend.
Special thanks go to:
The Grand Treasurer, RW Bro Ian Hogan PAGM, representing the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the UGL of NSW & ACT.
The Grand Pursuivant, VW Bro Vivek Papineni, who expertly executed his duties as Grand Director of Ceremonies.
Our wonderful visitors who assisted with the ceremony:
The WM of Lodge Paxton RW Bro Andrew Bradley PSGW as JW in the IB.
The WM of Lodge Weston-Kurri Kurri W Bro Craig Isted as SW in the IB.
VW Bro Ian Todd PDGDC our perpetual IG at Installations who also led a fraternal of Brethren from Lodge Leinster-Marine No. 2.
Bro Isabelo Jr. Ay-Em Dawaton of Lodge Alpha presented the first working tools.
Bro Tony Bayada of Lodge Lake Macquarie presented the second working tools.
Bro Trinity Banga-an of Lodge Alpha presented the third working tools.
We thank you and all visiting brethren for joining us, we appreciate you and will support your Lodges in kind very soon.
Many thanks are due in particular to VW Bro Darryl Wade DGIW for your continued efforts for Lodge Maitland. Darryl works hard every day for Lodge Maitland and has carried more than his fair share year after year ensuring our continued successes.
Finally, it’s very important for Lodge Maitland to thank and acknowledge Toni Heard & Linda Wade, both of whom work very hard alongside Darrel & Darryl and without whom this installation and many other meetings and events would not be possible to the high standards we enjoy. Thank you both so very much for everything you do.
Here’s to a successful year for Lodge Maitland and many more to come!
Fraternal Regards,
W Bro. Lucas Woods GStw
