Dear community
Sometimes we reach out to you with community requests, and sometimes, though not very often, the request is deeply personal. This is one of those times.
Next week, our dear and beloved friend, Sean Axelrod, will present his exhibition, Role of a Dice, at our Community Hub.
Of course, I may be slightly biased, as I have known Sean for more than 30 years, but he is genuinely one of the most talented artists I know. Sean has not exhibited his work in Australia for many years and, in my opinion, has gone far too long without receiving the recognition and warm embrace he so greatly deserves.
His wonderful exhibition features extraordinarily unique sculptural jewellery and will be open to the public on Wednesday, 2 September, and Saturday, 5 September.
