Words can’t adequately express what so many in our community are experiencing following Friday’s fires. Our hearts are with everyone who has been impacted, and we’ve been deeply moved by the way our community has come together to support those in need.

In light of this, Kate and I have made the decision to pause the JanuHairy fundraising campaign. Right now, attention, care, and financial support need to be directed to those directly affected within our community.

We're incredibly proud of how far the campaign has come in such a short time, and while we look forward to celebrating those efforts, we feel it’s important to do so when the timing is right.

Over the coming days, we’ll be in touch to share our way forward. For now, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported JanuHairy so far.

This is only the beginning, and we’re truly grateful for the generosity shown and for the funds already raised for in such a short space of time.

JanuHairy is a month-long challenge inviting you to grow the hair on your legs and/or underarms throughout January — all to help raise funds for women’s health.

You don’t need to be “brave.”
You don’t need to be political.
You don’t need to have done this before.

If you already wear your body hair proudly, we celebrate you.
If you’ve never tried it, we welcome you.
If you’re somewhere in between or struggle to grow body hair, you belong here too.
