We love supporting our local community organisations and building meaningful partnerships. A heartfelt thank you to all of our Hills Rotaract members, community volunteers who volunteered on Monday night In Martin Place, helping to provide warm meals and winter essentials alongside our amazing friends at Shining Light Foundation. Their incredible work supports people across Sydney who are experiencing hardship and homelessness, and we are grateful to have played a small part in making a difference within our community. 🙏🏼✨🫶🏼

Think you've got what it takes to become Hills Rotaract's very first Master Chef Champion? 🏆🔥

Join us for an evening packed with laughter, creativity, teamwork and a little bit of friendly competition as we host our FIRST EVER Hills Rotaract Master Chef Challenge!

🛒 The Challenge: You'll be paired into teams of 2–3 and given a budget of just $5 per person to create a winning dish. But first… you'll race through Woolworths to shop for your ingredients before heading back to "The Master Chef Kitchen" at Shauna's house to bring your culinary masterpiece to life!

🍝 Will your team create the ultimate main course?
🍪 Will you wow the judges with a spectacular dessert?
🥗 Or will your secret ingredient strategy take you all the way to victory?

A special Rotarian judge will crown the winning team and award the title of Hills Rotaract Master Chef Champions 2026! 🏅👑

And the best part? Once the judging is over, everyone gets to sit down together, enjoy the delicious feast and celebrate a night of friendship, fun and fellowship. ❤️

🌟 Best Wishes to District 9685 Winter RYPEN Team! 🌟

We would like to wish our fellow District 9685 Rotarian RYPEN mentors and our dedicated District 9685 Rotaract Chair, Krissie, all the very best as they attend and support the Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN) Camp from 12–14 June in the beautiful Katoomba, nestled in the stunning Blue Mountains. ⛰️🍂

RYPEN is a fantastic youth development initiative of Rotary International that provides young people with opportunities to build confidence, develop leadership skills, strengthen teamwork, and discover their potential through a range of engaging and challenging activities.🫱🏼‍🫲🏽🙌🏻

Programs like RYPEN empower young people to become capable, resilient, and community-minded leaders of the future, reflecting Rotary's commitment to supporting youth and creating positive change in our communities. 🌍 🌱

Learning in The Hills is seeking experienced sewers who are passionate about guiding and motivating people of varied abilities on their own projects in a community focused role. Tutors required for both Dressmaking and Patchwork & Quilting Classes.

Please consider our wonderful friends at Shining light foundation for your charitable donations.

Shining Light Foundation are currently doing a donation winter appeal and have drop off zones in Castlehill and Toongabbie with their Foundations ambassadors. Or alternatively you can message them directly through their social media pages to organise someone to come collect your donations. These donations are directly distributed to people experiencing homelessness in the Sydney CBD on Monday nights at Martin Place.
