Near Pastor Josiah’s house is a mass grave.

“Here in this grave are 22 people who were killed,” Josiah says. “All of them were Christians. Just like how my wife and children were killed. All we want is for the killings of Christians in Nigeria and Africa to stop.”

Please, help stop the violence. Sign the petition that calls for protection, justice and restoration for persecuted believers in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Elizabeth*, a believer from Cuba, has shared how life in Cuba has become increasingly difficult for many families. Each day brings new challenges in accessing basic necessities, especially food.

One of her concerns is the growing shortage of meat and other animal products. These foods are becoming increasingly difficult to find, with fewer sellers offering them and only a small number of places where they can be purchased. This makes it even harder for families to meet their daily food needs.

Despite these difficulties, Elizabeth says she continues moving forward with faith and hope. She knows the reality around her is challenging, but she says believers continue to persevere and trust God through each situation.

“We keep fighting,” she says—a simple phrase that reflects the perseverance of Christians who, despite their limitations, refuse to give up.

Elizabeth also asks Christians in other countries to remember Cuba in their prayers. She asks them to pray for the country, for families facing hardship, for those struggling to find food, and for those who feel tired or discouraged by their circumstances.

Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Myanmar. 🙏

Dal Than Tuang, assistant pastor of Lamzang Baptist Church, Chin State, was killed on 14 September 2026. His death is not an isolated incident. It follows the disappearance and reported killing of Reverend Williams, a pastor from Chungcung village in Chin State.

Since the 2021 coup, several pastors and Christian leaders have reportedly died at the hands of the military or in conflict-related violence. Pastor Cung Biak Hum was killed in Chin State in 2021. Pastor Om Kee was also killed in 2021, and Pastor Salai Ngwe Kyar was killed in 2025. Catholic priest, Saw Radi, was killed in Karen State in 2023.

Churches still face attacks, including air raids. Pastors and Christian workers feel increasingly unsafe and unprotected by the law. These attacks have deepened fear among pastors, missionaries, and evangelists, while narrowing the space for churches to minister freely to their communities.

Will you take a moment to pray for them now?

🙏 Pray for Pastor William’s family, that God will comfort them in their grief and surround them with His peace.

🙏 Pray for the family and church members of Pastor Dal Thawn Thang, that they will be comforted as they grieve the loss of their father and leader.

🙏 Pray for Christian pastors and leaders in Myanmar, that they will remain wise, humble, brave, and strong as they continue to serve their communities.

It should have been him.

The Islamic extremists who attacked Pastor Bandiba’s church in Burkina Faso were specifically looking for him.

But Bandiba was away that day, visiting another church. Two other men—dear friends and brothers in Christ—were killed in his place.

The incident plunged Bandiba into deep depression. Without trauma care, the way forward would have seemed incredibly dark.

“This trauma healing training has helped me on two levels,” Bandiba shares. “I had a hard time forgiving, but it's now resolved. So, in turn, I can help others. If you are not healed, you cannot help anyone else. Now I am healed and I am helping others.”

Please pray for the peace, strength, and resilience of believers like Bandiba and their families 🙏 ❤️

What does a fieldworker ministering to North Koreans want you to know?
Brother Sung-Eun* serves North Koreans in a nearby country—his work is so dangerous we can’t tell you exactly where. For him, getting through the
day unnoticed is 90% of his job.

Every meeting requires caution. Every encounter could be his only opportunity to share the hope of Jesus with someone.

And through it all, he has witnessed God protect His people, open doors, and work in circumstances that seem impossible.

Recently, Sung-Eun shared five messages he wants the global Church to hear about our secret brothers and sisters in North Korea—and the role we play in their lives.

Please pray 🇨🇳

A pastor and several staff from a house church network in northern China have been arrested, placed in a detention centre, and deprived of communication with their families. They are now awaiting trial.

The group was arrested as they were planning a church event, but the situation seems to be more sinister than that.

“The pastor and his coworkers were not detained simply because they were preparing a Christian activity at that moment,” Joel*, an Open Doors local partner serving in the region, explains. “The authorities had already been monitoring their church, and this operation appears to have been carried out according to a predetermined list of individuals for detention.

“This house church has existed for many years, and because of its large number of believers, it has become a target of increased scrutiny and suppression.”

Please continue in prayer for believers in China facing tightening restrictions and heavier punishments for living out their faith.

🙏 Pray for the detained pastor and church workers. May God protect them both physically and spiritually. May He comfort them and strengthen their faith. May He also protect and comfort their families.

🙏 Pray for the house church they serve. May God empower the church with His strength. May He unite the believers with one heart as they face persecution together.

🙏 Pray for other house churches and believers in North China and across the country. Ask God to grant them protection and courage as they endure these challenges.

Relentless attacks in Nigeria’s northwest have left 5,400 believers traumatised and fighting for survival.

2026 started with the kidnapping of 177 churchgoers in Kaduna State. The violence and killings have continued every month since.

But the stats don’t tell the whole story.

Every number is a person like Sabina. She was kidnapped by extremists who brutally killed her husband and two of her children.

“We were chained like slaves,” she remembers. “They tortured us.”

Christians in Nigeria and across Africa are sick of pain and grief.

Help stop the violence.
