CLUB RULES and CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Events will run in accordance with the Extreme Cowboy Racing (EXCA) Rules.
2. For EXCA sanctioned competitions, all EXCA rules will apply, including dress and tack code (no exceptions).
3. Any choice of saddle will be permitted for NNSWECA members club practice/training days.
4. Tie downs and bridles with nosebands are not permitted.
5. All persons to be po
lite, respectful and courteous to all participants and visitors.
6. All participants must abide by the requirements of the NSW Public Health Order in relation to COVID 19 preventative measures. Note: These requirements may change subject to varying changes to the Order with limited warning.
7. All participants must adhere to the rules and requirements for safety and welfare and have read and understand the requirements of the risk assessment for the event and adhere to those requirements.
8. Riders under the age of 18 years must wear a helmet in accordance with the Australian Standards.
9. All horse owners or responsible horse carers are required to complete a horse health biosecurity declaration.
10. All horses participating in activities involving obstacles must wear front boots. Rear boots are optional, however are highly recommended. No boots = no participation.
11. All spectators must remain in the designated areas during event activities unless outside of the Showground fenced area.
12. In accordance with Showground requirements all horse manure must be collected from car parking and access areas and either be taken offsite with participants or placed in an identified area.
13. All participants are responsible for horses under their care and control on the day.
14. All participants are expected to assist with set up and pack up activities where possible.
15. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and away from ridden horses.
16. Horses are not permitted to be left unattended or roaming during the event, they should be secured either to a float, in a stable or held by a responsible person.
17. Participants are responsible for their own rubbish, taking it offsite for disposal.
18. If this event is postponed or cancelled 20% of the entry fee will be retained to cover costs. There will be no refund of money after the closing date of entries, except on production of a Veterinary or Doctor’s certificate within seven (7) days after the vent – then only 10% will be retained to cover club costs.
19. In consideration of the NNSWECA Inc accepting an entry, riders and/or owners will undertake NOT to hold the committee or members of the NNSWECA Inc responsible for any claims, losses, suits or damages. All riders and/or owners should fully understand that they compete at their own risk. Your registration for this event confirms that you understand and accept the conditions of entry.
