ZEN ZONE ๐ง โจ
We recently piloted Zen Zone as part of our Life Skills initiative, in partnership with Richmond Valley Council.
Delivered with Batyr and co-facilitated by Social Futures, headspace Lismore, Mission Australia and Casino Youth Hub, the session brought together students from Casino High for a morning of real conversation, connection, and support.
Through a round robin Q&A, young people had the chance to ask honest questions and connect directly with local services. They also heard from youth storyteller Acacia, whose lived experience highlighted the power of sharing stories and speaking openly about mental health.
Students walked away with practical information, clearer pathways to support, and the reminder that theyโre not alone.
This pilot is just the beginning of building accessible, relevant life skills opportunities for young people in our community.
