🏉 Auskick 2026 – We Need Your Help! 🏉

With just 7 weeks to go until the season kicks off, we’re getting things organised and need a hand from our amazing parent community to make sure everything runs smoothly for the kids.
At the moment, we don’t have an Auskick coordinator and any volunteers for the key roles. Auskick is built on parent involvement—even a small contribution makes a big difference 🙌

We’re currently looking for help with:

👉 Coaches
• Kinder group
• Prep group
• Grade 1+ group

👉 BBQ Coordinator
• Organise weekly BBQ (including getting sausages to the ground)
• Set up a simple roster for cooking & serving

👉 Certificates Coordinator
• Organise weekly player certificates

No experience needed at all 👍 Last year’s coordinators will be there to support and guide you, so you won’t be on your own. We’re also open to any new ideas to make the program even better!

💡 Roles can absolutely be shared between multiple parents to make it easier.

If you’re able to help in any way, please reach out ASAP so we can get everything ready for a great season.

💛💙 CPLJFC NEEDS OUR NEXT AUSKICK COORDINATOR

Auskick is where our little Lions take their very first steps in footy — where confidence grows, friendships form and the love of the game begins. To keep this magic alive, we’re searching for that special someone to lead our youngest superstars in 2026.

We’re inviting our community to put your hand up or nominate someone who would make an incredible Auskick Coordinator. It could be a parent, a supporter, a natural encourager — anyone with heart, enthusiasm and a love for helping kids shine.

Everything they need can be taught, and they’ll be surrounded by a strong, supportive team. What matters most is the willingness to step in and make a difference.

Without this key person, our Auskick program can’t move forward the way our kids deserve. Let’s rally together and find the leader who will guide the next generation of Lions.

Auskick runs on community spirit — and a few extra hands make all the difference. We’re looking for volunteers to help with the fun, behind‑the‑scenes bits that keep our Saturdays running smoothly: game‑day rewards, sausage sizzle coordination, registrations, and those little jobs that make big smiles.

Because truly, without people like you, our little footy legends wouldn’t get the amazing experiences they look forward to every week.

Stamped Auskick footballs for some very lucky kids at Carrum Patterson Lakes Auskick

These are the absolute cutest!

And they turned out amazing. The lustre dust effect is exceptional. I just love it!

As a Swans fan, (it's not our year), I always love making AFL themed cakes and cookies.

Just a reminder that our Auskick Presentation is this Saturday, 2nd August at 9:00am – kicking off with our kinder kids! 🏅

We know a lot of new sports/commitments have started for Saturday mornings so we plan to get through them quickly.

The Cowboys are part of an over 35s footy competition, playing every second Sunday right here on our home ground. There’s a great link between our clubs – many of our Auskick dads pull on the boots for the Cowboys, including Coach Chris and Coach Michael! 💪
