Learning, language and a little creativity at Yardgee! 💚

Students at Yardgee recently joined our Rangers4Life program for a hands-on learning session focused on body parts and language.

Working with R4L worksheets in Gija and Jaru, students traced and copied body part names in English and traditional language before bringing the illustrations to life with colour.

It was a great opportunity to build language skills while celebrating and connecting with culture in an engaging way.

And the highlight? A refreshing snack of fresh watermelon and low-sugar fruit drinks, a much-loved treat!

Thank you to Telethon7 Perth for your support and we look forward to more learning, connection and fun with our communities.

Learning language, culture and Country at Lundja 🌿

Our Rangers4Life program recently spent time with students at Lundja, exploring body parts through fun and engaging bilingual activities.

Students worked through their R4L worksheets in Gija and Jaru, tracing and copying the names of body parts in English and traditional language before colouring in the illustrations. It was a wonderful way to support language learning while strengthening connections to culture.

And, of course, no session is complete without a much-loved treat, fresh watermelon and low-sugar fruit drinks! 💚

We love seeing students learning, connecting and having fun together through our Rangers4Life program.

Thank you to Telethon7 Perth for their support.
