Who's seen these two fabulous First Nations Queernarvon icons in town for Gnulli Festival??

Such a buzz having MKR legend Matt Moncrieff and mental health advocate + former Batchelorette Brooke Blurton rocking around their old stomping ground spreading light n love wherever they tread!!

Great crowd at Gwoonwardu Mia this morning listening to Brooke and Matt in conversation about Brooke's memoir Big Love, her formative years growing up in Carnarvon, and everything from love and loss to family and identity.

Loved Brooke's message around staying true to your values, showing compassion for the haters, and anchoring to culture, country and community. You may have caught Matt cooking up tasty treats as the Gnulli markets yesterday and you'll catch him again at the fascine tonight for the closing live music, drone show and fireworks!

As Brooke said today, we totally need to have more reasons for joy and celebration like this in town.. perhaps another Queernarvon Pride is calling right??

Shout out if you want to join the committee and get something happening cos at the moment we do not have a committee ahahha.

🌟 Carnarvon Pride represented at Alike WA Regional Forum & Gala 🌟

We’re thrilled to share that Crystal was a proud recipient of a Lottery West regional bursary and travelled to Perth to represent Carnarvon Pride at the Alike WA Regional Forum and Gala yesterday —a celebration of peer support groups across Western Australia.

It was an incredible opportunity to connect with passionate changemakers, share stories, and be inspired by the dedication and impact of community groups from every corner of the state. A huge congratulations to all the Award winners—your hard work is truly making a difference! 💖

Alike WA (formerly Connect Groups) is the peak body supporting peer-led groups to grow, thrive, and achieve meaningful outcomes. We’re grateful for their continued support, advocacy and the training opportunities they offer.

✨ We’re still on the lookout for new committee members! If you’re passionate about community, inclusion, and keeping the Pride spirit alive in Carnarvon, Alike can help train you up so you feel confident and equipped to take on the role.

We're getting behind YOUnity, an awesome project coming up this school holidays! If you or someone you know wants to get creative and express themselves, register and come along! LGBTQIA+ and Allies of all ages are welcome ✨️🌼🏳️‍🌈

🌈 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗼𝗻!

These spring school holidays, local youth (ages 12–25) are invited to join YOUnity: Flags in Motion & Our Stories in Voice at the Community Art Hub. Young people are encouraged to design your own pride flag + share your story through writing, poetry or spoken word. Your words will even inspire songs by the West Australian Opera!

The primary design session is running on: 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝟬 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝟭𝟬𝗮𝗺–𝟭𝗽𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 Community Art Hub and includes free lunch!

Hey , we want to really thank you all for a fantastic Pride this year!! It was a blast.

Importantly, we want to let you know that after 3 amazing years, the Queernarvon committee has decided to step down.

To continue doing all the fun stuff, we'll need a new Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. Please let us know ASAP if you would like to help keep Queernarvon alive by nominating for one of these positions.

It's a super fun and rewarding way to volunteer your time so don't hesitate to reach out if you've got the inkling :) xx

🌈💃 We’re still thinking about the Queernarvon Pride Boogie and honestly? We may never recover 💅✨

From the glitter to the grooves, the love to the laughter — the morning was absolutely buzzing. Huge shoutout to every dazzling dancer, drag artist, and ally who turned up. Y’all brought the joy, the sparkle, and the unapologetic q***r magic that makes our little corner of the world so special.

We danced, we celebrated, we boogied along the fascine… and we’re already dreaming of the next one. 🪩❤️

Last weekend, Queernarvon turned up the glitter and Southern charm with BarbieQ and Alexas Armstrong in "Welcome to Dollywood", and y’all SHOWED UP and SHOWED OUT! 🎤👠💖

From rhinestones to gingham, the energy was electric, the performances were iconic, and the love in the room? Pure Dolly-level fabulous. 💅

📸 Whether you were cheering in the front row or line dancing in spirit, THANK YOU for making it a night to remember. We laughed, we sang, we slayed — and honey, we did it in heels.

💄✨ Serving FACE and Fierceness in Carnarvon!

Last Thursday, Queernarvon turned up the glam with our Drag Makeup Workshop – and honey, the transformation was everything! 🎨👑 From contour to cut-crease, our fabulous crew learned all the tricks of the trade to bring out their inner diva.

A huge thank you to our incredible drag mentor Alexas Armstrong who shared their artistry, sass, and sparkle – you left us all inspired and ready to SLAY. 💅

To everyone who came along – you are the heartbeat of our beautiful, bold and bright community. 💖
