✨ International Arts Excellence Award (IAEA 2025) — Ceremony Highlights ✨
This year, the youngest award-winning artist was just 4 years old! Through art, these young talents built bridges of communication with audiences from around the world. In every piece of work, there were no language barriers – only heartfelt expression.

🎉 The IAEA Award Ceremony took place during the International Youth Arts Festival, filled with excitement and celebration. The event opened with a welcome address by the President of IACCA, followed by a lively performance of “From the Start” by The North Star Band, which immediately set the stage alight 🎶.

🌏 The distinguished guest speakers included:
Ms. Sheena Watt MP, Sheena Watt MP , Member of the Victorian Parliament (representing the Minister for Multicultural Affairs)

Mr. Mark Wang, CEO of the Chinese Museum Melbourne

Ms. Teresa Chung, Representative of the Victorian Artists’ Society

Dr. Ming Wu, CEO of Studio W Architects, Architect and former lecturer at the University of Melbourne

Each of them delivered inspiring remarks and presented certificates of appreciation to the performers 👏.

🎻 The music performances created another highlight of the event:

A trio performance of Canon in D by Alex Chong, Dallas Xie, and Annabel Chong

A heartfelt rendition of A Million Dreams by Miss GG

The audience responded with wave after wave of applause, adding to the festive atmosphere.

🏆 Finally, the most anticipated moment arrived – the award presentations! This year’s winning works were exhibited as part of the International Youth Arts Festival, supported by the Victorian Government, and officially recognised with exhibition certificates from the Chinese Museum Melbourne. One by one, outstanding young artists took to the stage to receive their honours, with cheers, applause, and photos capturing this unforgettable milestone ✨.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all guests, artists!

✨ On September 21, the International Youth Arts Fun Festival officially commenced at the Chinese Museum Melbourne. The event was filled with vibrant cultural exchange and creative energy throughout the day. We were honoured to welcome nearly 500 guests, with the museum at full capacity.

🙏 This achievement would not have been possible without the support of our community, partners, and sponsors, whose collaboration made the festival a truly memorable celebration of youth and the arts.
We were honoured to welcome Ms. Sheena Watt MP (representing the Minister for Multicultural Affairs) at the opening ceremony, showing strong support for this multicultural celebration of youth and the arts. SBS Multicultural Media also joined us on-site to cover the event and capture the highlights.

One of the biggest highlights was the “Future Home” Youth Winners Exhibition – a 3-day showcase of outstanding artworks from young artists of diverse backgrounds, who painted their visions of what the “future home” could be.

At 12:45pm, the Chinese Masonic Society Lion Dance Team set the Chinatown Plaza alight with their powerful lion dance! The afternoon continued with:
Kung Fu & traditional dance Charm Dance
A lively jazz performance
Singing by Miss GG & The North Star
Violin performances by Alex Chong, Annabel Chong & Dallas Xie
A dynamic K-POP dance by Melody

🎁 To top it all off, our lucky draw and creative workshops brought even more joy – with some participants winning a surprise Labubu blind box!

❤️ A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to all our supporting organisations and partners. You made this festival truly unforgettable.
See you again next year! 👋
