✨ International Arts Excellence Award (IAEA 2025) — Ceremony Highlights ✨
This year, the youngest award-winning artist was just 4 years old! Through art, these young talents built bridges of communication with audiences from around the world. In every piece of work, there were no language barriers – only heartfelt expression.
🎉 The IAEA Award Ceremony took place during the International Youth Arts Festival, filled with excitement and celebration. The event opened with a welcome address by the President of IACCA, followed by a lively performance of “From the Start” by The North Star Band, which immediately set the stage alight 🎶.
🌏 The distinguished guest speakers included:
Ms. Sheena Watt MP, Sheena Watt MP , Member of the Victorian Parliament (representing the Minister for Multicultural Affairs)
Mr. Mark Wang, CEO of the Chinese Museum Melbourne
Ms. Teresa Chung, Representative of the Victorian Artists’ Society
Dr. Ming Wu, CEO of Studio W Architects, Architect and former lecturer at the University of Melbourne
Each of them delivered inspiring remarks and presented certificates of appreciation to the performers 👏.
🎻 The music performances created another highlight of the event:
A trio performance of Canon in D by Alex Chong, Dallas Xie, and Annabel Chong
A heartfelt rendition of A Million Dreams by Miss GG
The audience responded with wave after wave of applause, adding to the festive atmosphere.
🏆 Finally, the most anticipated moment arrived – the award presentations! This year’s winning works were exhibited as part of the International Youth Arts Festival, supported by the Victorian Government, and officially recognised with exhibition certificates from the Chinese Museum Melbourne. One by one, outstanding young artists took to the stage to receive their honours, with cheers, applause, and photos capturing this unforgettable milestone ✨.
