🌈 Sinners (2025) MA15+ 🌈💕
Ryan Coogler’s horror film broke the all-time record for Academy Award nominations by receiving 16 nominations at the 98th Academy Awards. The Film follows twin brothers who return to 1930s Jim Crow-era Mississippi to open a juke joint, only to face supernatural forces and systemic oppression.
Content Warning:
- Graphic Injury: Frequent, intense scenes of violence involving biting, shooting, stabbing, slashing, and impalement (including head impalement).
- Gory Details: Copious blood spurts, ragged bleeding vampire bite wounds, and characters being set on fire or severely burned.
- Emotional Distress: The film features a subplot dealing with infant/baby loss, which may be sensitive or emotionally challenging for some viewers (though opinions on how it resolves vary among audiences).
- Sexual Content: Contains steamy or strong s*xual scenes involving implied penetrative and oral s*x, alongside verbal s*xual references.
- Nudity: There is no explicit nudity shown during these scenes.
